ABOUT

Jocelyne Chaput is an award-winning editor and writer whose feature credits include Sara Dosa’s Academy Award-nominated Fire of Love and Joel Heath’s People of a Feather. Her work has screened at festivals such as Sundance, True/False, CPH:DOX, Tribeca, New Directors/New Films, Hot Docs, and has been featured on The New Yorker and Vimeo Staff Picks.

For Fire of Love, she received the ACE Eddie for theatrical documentary, the Jonathan Oppenheim Editing Award, the Cinema Eye Honors Editing Award, the IDA Writing Award, and the Peabody Award for Arts. 

She is a member of ACE, BFE, and has been a consultant for the IDA DocuClub Series and a jury member for the DOXA Documentary Film Festival. She is fluent in English and French.

She lives in Emeryville, California. Her favorite local movie theaters are the Grand Lake and The New Parkway. Her favorite bar is The Alley.
